The Brief: Design something "cool" for a 3' by 9' banner.
Results: For my banner, I decided to create a movie poster in a style similar to horror movie posters from the 1950s. I chose a Floridian theme, given that I knew it would be displayed on campus at FGCU, where gators are regularly spotted on campus. I created the illustration in Adobe Illustrator and created the lettering for the title by hand. The designs from the class were voted on by a third party and only those selected were printed and displayed in the Arts Complex. My banner was displayed from November 2017-November 2018.
